THE PROBLEM

Today’s fashion carries a tremendous amount of hazardous chemicals that cause hormone disruption, carcinogenic properties that causes cancer, infertility, and respiratory disease. Alongside the hazardous effects of clothing is the overconsumption of textiles.

THE SOLUTION

Our Upcycling and Sustainable Fashion Initiative is targeting the clothing upcycle process directly and may be able to produce the world’s first 100 percent post-consumer-waste textiles and clothing brands.

THREAD HAUS PROJECT OPENING TO THE COMMUNITY

This is a new kind of sustainable fashion system that can create value for people, the planet, and profit. Our system will also promote greater product satisfaction through better quality and longer-lasting products. It will promote well-being and happiness through less materialistic consumption, e.g. by offering experiences through sharing, swapping, donating, repurposing, or do-it-yourself fashion.

We work with our local community to provide individuals with an opportunity to partner with Thread Haus through our incubator program and empower the community with an outlet to educate and partner with other members of the community and educate inspiring designers and entrepreneurs. This is the 360 economy that Thread Haus has always envisioned.
